As President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors since
January 2005, Tirado is responsible for overseeing the global vision, strategic direction
and executive management team at Silicon Image, and is chartered with steering the
Company's growth and focus on innovation. Since joining Silicon Image in 1999, he has
served in several executive capacities, including chief operating officer, storage division
president, and executive vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to
Silicon Image, Tirado held senior executive sales and marketing positions at Sun
Microsystems for thirteen years, including vice president of marketing and business
development for the NC systems group. Prior to his experience at Sun Microsystems,
Tirado was president of Tirado Sorrentino Associates, a consulting firm, held the
position of Marketing Administration Manager at Qualogy, a mass storage disk drive and
controller company and was a public program administrator and policy analyst within
various government agencies. Tirado received a master's degree in business
administration from the University of California at Berkeley, a masters of social work
degree in community organization management and planning from Boston University and
a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Bill George is a 30-year veteran of the semiconductor industry. He took charge of worldwide manufacturing operations and order fulfillment for ON Semiconductor when the company separated from Motorola in 1999. In this role, he oversees technology development, manufacturing, quality and reliability and order fulfillment operations at the company's facilities in the U.S., China, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Japan, Philippines and Malaysia.
Prior to accepting his role at ON Semiconductor, Bill served as Corporate Vice President and Director of Manufacturing for Motorola's Semiconductor Components Group. In that role, Bill headed the worldwide manufacturing operations of the group, including fabrication and final manufacturing plants in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Bill joined Motorola in 1968 where he progressed through a number of assignments in R&D, manufacturing and business management. In 1991, Bill was assigned to Sematech in Austin, Texas where he served three years as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Returning to Phoenix in 1994, he managed wafer fabrication for the Communication, Power and Signal Technologies Group. In 1996, he was named Corporate Vice President and Director of Manufacturing of the Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, with responsibility for directing investment and operational strategy for Motorola's worldwide semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Bill received his Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1964 from the University of Oklahoma and earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Purdue University in 1968. He has authored ten papers on electronic materials and devices and has been granted seven patents on semiconductor devices. In 1996, Purdue recognized Bill as a "Distinguished Engineering Alumnus."
Peter Hanelt is a seasoned retail and consumer markets executive, having spent the last 30 years in CEO, COO and CFO roles for a variety of publicly and privately held companies. He is president and founder of a consulting firm specializing in improving operating results and providing expertise in corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Most recently, Hanelt served as COO and chief restructuring officer of Good Guys. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Natural Wonders, COO and CFO of Esprit De Corp, COO and CFO for Post Tool, Inc., COO and CFO of Manetti-Farrow, Inc. and a principal of Regent Pacific. Hanelt has also held CFO, VP of finance and controller positions at two hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area and earlier spent five years on the audit and tax staff at Deloitte & Touche. He served four years with the U.S. Army and 18 years as an officer in the reserves. Hanelt is a certified public accountant and holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He currently serves on the boards of Shoe Pavilion, Inc. and PATELCO and serves on the audit committee of Catholic Healthcare West. He was previously a board member for Infonet, 3-Day Blinds, Iwerks Entertainment and Interhealth Nutraceuticals.
Hodge brings more than 16 years of experience in investment banking focused on the global technology industry. He has completed more than 200 transactions for numerous leading technology companies, such as Silicon Image, Apple, Applied Materials, Broadcom, Google, Intel, Phillips, Samsung and TiVo. He has advised clients on a wide array of strategic transactions and financings in a broad range of industries and has worked on transactions in North America, Europe and Asia. He was the team leader on Google's groundbreaking $1.9 billion auction IPO and the SMIC $1.8 billion dual-listed IPO (the largest Chinese semiconductor foundry). Currently, John is with the Blackstone Group in the Private Equity division where he is focused on technology investments. Prior to the Blackstone Group, he was a senior advisor and managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston's (CSFB) technology group and in a separate tenure at CSFB, served as a managing director and global head of corporate finance. Hodge has been the managing director of west coast corporate finance for Deutsche Bank's technology practice and held positions at Morgan Stanley and Robertson Stephens. Hodge graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University. Hodge is a regular speaker at industry events and a guest lecturer at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
A 30-year technology veteran, Masood Jabbar has held a variety of management positions with public companies and currently serves on the board of directors for Openwave Systems Inc. and Picsel Technologies. His management career is anchored by 16 years at Sun Microsystems, where he held various executive positions, most recently as EVP of Sun's global sales operations. Immediately prior, Jabbar served as president and earlier as CFO of Sun Microsystems Computer Company, the business unit responsible for the development and delivery of desktop and server computing systems. While serving as CFO for this unit, Jabbar led its technology and business acquisitions activities and was responsible for business development and strategic alliances. Earlier he served as general manager for Sun's Interactive Products Group, VP of finance and planning for the worldwide field organization and director of marketing for the U.S. field operations. Prior to joining Sun, he spent 10 years at Xerox Corporation and three years at IBM in various finance and planning roles. Jabbar holds a bachelor's degree in economics and statistics from the University of Punjab in Pakistan and masters' degrees in business administration and international management from the American Graduate School of International Management.
With more than 30 years experience in the information technology and consumer industries, Raduchel has held various senior executive positions at AOL Time Warner, Inc., Sun Microsystems, Inc., Xerox Corporation, and McGraw-Hill, Inc.
Raduchel will serve as a key strategic advisor to Silicon Image based on his vast business, financial, commercial, consumer, media and technical experience. He is currently the chairman, CEO and a director of Ruckus Network, a digital entertainment network for students at colleges and universities featuring national, local and campus-based programming over the university networks. Prior to that, Raduchel served as executive vice president and Chief Technology Officer of AOL Time Warner, Inc. where he was named "CTO of the Year" by InfoWorld Magazine. He spent 11 years at Sun Microsystems, Inc. in senior executive roles including CIO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, acting vice president of human resources, and vice president of corporate planning and development. During this time, he was recognized as "CIO of the Year" by CIO Magazine and "Best CFO in the Computer Industry" by Wall Street Transcript. Raduchel has also held senior executive roles at Xerox Corporation and McGraw-Hill, Inc.
Raduchel currently serves on the board of directors of Blackboard, Inc. and Chordiant Software, Inc., both of which are public, and also serves on the boards of In2Books, Stoneacre Partners, and SkyBlue. Raduchel is a member of the National Advisory Board for the Salvation Army and the National Academy of Science Board on Science, Technology and Economic Policy. He was a member of two key Academy panels: the Committee on Internet Navigation and Domain Name Services and the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights in the Knowledge-Based Economy. In addition, he has several issued and pending patents.
Raduchel earned his master's and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Harvard and received a bachelor's in economics from Michigan State University. He was also given an honorary doctorate in business from Michigan Technological University.
